WHAT DO YOU DO?
As I travel through the land, I see couples hand in hand
The way things used to be, between my wife and me
But my life has passed me by and before long I will die
And all that’s left for me, is just a memory
Now I'm living all alone, in the house that was our home
So empty now she’s gone, so lonely on my own
When I go to bed at night, I turn on the hallway light
Then walk toward the stair, so empty cold and bare
What do you do when your love has gone?
When you stay awake all night and you cry until the dawn
What do you do when your love has gone?
When your life has passed you by
And you find you’re on your own
What do you do when your love has gone?
How do you face another day, when you’re loving all alone
What do you do when your love has gone?
What in the world do you do?
