LONELY CHRISTMAS
Everyday I see the world go past my window
Everyday I watch the world drift slowly by
And everyday I get a little bit more lonesome
And everyday I sit alone and cry
There’s nothing worse than being lonely at Christmas
When life revolves around the family
And I am feeling lonely this Christmas
And I'm lonely 'cause my wife walked out on me
As she walked into the room and her perfume filled the air
I just couldn't control myself, I broke down in despair
For she is wearing a diamond ring
Where my ring used to be
And now I know that happiness, was never meant for me
There’s nothing worse than being lonely at Christmas
When life revolves around the family
And I am feeling lonely this Christmas
And I'm lonely 'cause my wife walked out on me
On the day she said “goodbye”
My poor heart was broke in two
Nothing I said would make her stay and nothing I could do
For she’s in love with another man, but I still love her so
And Christmas day I’ll only have a stocking full of woe
There’s nothing worse than being lonely at Christmas
When life revolves around the family
And I am feeling lonely this Christmas
And I'm lonely 'cause my wife walked out on me
