RATHER BE HAPPY
I'd
rather be happy, I'd rather be happy
I'd
rather be happy than wise
I'd
rather be happy than wise
I'd
rather see the world, with rose tinted eyes
With
God in my heart, I feel happy and strong
So
I don’t listen to you, when you tell me I'm wrong
I'd
rather be happy, I'd rather be happy
I'd
rather be happy than wise
They
say an abstract god, is only make pretend
And
I am just a fool, with my imaginary friend
But
as he makes me happy, I won’t turn my god away
And
I’ll believe in my best friend, no matter what you say
I'd
rather be happy than wise
I'd
rather see the world, with rose tinted eyes
With
God in my heart, I feel happy and strong
So
I don’t listen to you, when you tell me I'm wrong
I'd
rather be happy, I'd rather be happy
I'd
rather be happy than wise
The
atheist looks sad, even though he may be wise
But
I would rather keep my friend, than have to dry my eyes
My
faith makes me happy, and it keeps the blues away
So
I’ll believe in my best friend, no matter what you say
I'd
rather be happy than wise
I'd
rather see the world, with rose tinted eyes
With
God in my heart, I feel happy and strong
So
I don’t listen to you, when you tell me I'm wrong
I'd
rather be happy, I'd rather be happy
I'd
rather be happy than wise
